Personalized Nutrition Counselling for Eating Disorder Recovery
No two people or eating disorders are the same, so your nutrition support should be as individualized as you are.
Together, we'll work nutritionally towards your recovery by:
Balancing your plates and reintegrating foods
Normalizing fear foods
Establishing a regular pattern of eating
Supporting your digestion and hormones
Learning tools to move away from compensatory behaviours
Cooking, preparing, and plating what your body needs to be well
…and so much more!
What to Expect
-
Your first appointment is a comprehensive 75-minute assessment where we'll take the time to understand you—your eating disorder symptoms, current health and health history, nutrition, lifestyle, medications, supplements, and goals for recovery.
From there, we'll determine the best place to start and go through any initial nutrition recommendations and next steps that make sense for you and your recovery.
-
Nutrition counselling for eating disorder recovery is an ongoing process. Regular follow-up appointments allow us to build on the work we’ve started, work through challenges as they come up, and adjust our approach as your needs change throughout recovery.
Recovery takes time, and our work will evolve with you.
-
Virtual meal support is available for those who need added support in showing up to their nutrition for eating disorder recovery.
This can look like ongoing support for any or all meals and snacks for a period of time, or strategic meal support when needed—during holidays, more triggering moments, when making nutrition additions that feel uncomfortable, or when normalizing fear foods.
I will always work with you to determine what level of meal support is right for you.
-
All appointments are offered virtually, allowing you to access personalized nutrition support from the comfort of your own home—wherever you are.
